Jamboree on the Air is the largest Scouting event in the world. In 2010 more that 700,000 Scouts participated with nearly 6,000 stations in operation.
The National Radio Scouting Committee under the direction of their chairman, Jim Wilson, K5ND, who is also the National JOTA Organizer, worked hard this year to completely revise the Jamboree on the Air information and get it posted online at
In addition, in early June the ARRL incorporated the new information on their website at
The 2011 JOTA patch design was developed by the International Department working with the Media Studio designers at the Boy Scouts of America National Office.
The 2011 Jamboree on the Air report has been finalized. Sixty-eight stations reported over 3,000 Scouts in attendance. This is an increase of 600% from 2010. You can see the full report here.
