Jamboree on the Air is the largest Scouting event in the world. In 2012 nearly 700,000 Scouts participated with over 13,500 stations operated by 22,500 amateur radio operators in operation from 142 countries around the world.
The National Radio Scouting Committee develops and maintains a great deal of JOTA supporting information online at Jamboree-on-the-Air
The 2013 JOTA was a spectacular effort with still more support and content added to the JOTA website as well as to this website. The full report for 2013 is available at JOTA 2013 Report. The number of stations submitting reports increased 33% to 271, with the number of Scout participants declining to nearly 14,000, a decrease of 25%. Some 1,300 amateur radio operators assisted the Scouts in contacting all 50 states and 88 countries. You can find the full 2013 JOTA Report here.
